Upgrade Radio
Do not proceed to flash your Radio without Hard-SPL on your device! You can follow the guide here for more info. Currently, there are no signed Radio ROMs so you must have unsigned Hard-SPL to flash one (at your own risk!)
You will not lose your data/programs when flashing the Radio
1. Download a Radio ROM from this thread
2. Unzip the File to a memorable location
3. Download the Diamond Rom Updater Utility (RUU) from this thread
4. Unzip the File to a memorable location. You will see one file inside the folder called "DiamondCustomRUU.exe"
5. Move the Radio ROM (.nbh file) in to the same folder as the RUU
6. Click on "DiamondCustomRUU.exe" to start the update
7. Check the checkbox, and click ‘next’
8. Follow the directions in the window, and establish an activesync connection with your device
*Make sure the activesync icon is be green (finished synchronizing)
*Make sure your battery is charged
9. Check the checkbox, click ‘next’
10. In the next window, click the ‘Update’ button
This will show the version number Radio that you are about to flash.
11. After the version number has appeared, click next
12. In the following window, click ‘next’
after you click this, the flash will begin, so do not disconnect your device or do anything stupid on your computer
13. Your device will display a completely black screen. A Progress bar will appear on your computer screen, and after a while your device will display a grey screen with progress bar. Be patient while your device is being updated.
14. Once your device is finished updating, it will automatically soft reset. Click the ‘Finish’ button to exit the RUU program.
CONGRATULATIONS!! You have now installed a new Radio on your device!!
